Music Mondays: Parachute/Sparkys Flaw

for those of you who have no idea who Parachute is..

Their a band.
*the coolest band in the world.

How i started listening to them is pretty funny. So since i've practically been listening to Taylor swift all my life, ever since i joined twitter back in 09/10. (Can't quite remember) I always tweet her lyrics, like a lot of the time. It isn't like i plan it. Her lyrics are always swimming about in my head. And sometimes i just want to write it down. (Because their so brilliant) so anyway, you know how twitter works, us swifties always find ourselves. So there was a time i got followed by a girl who also listened to Taylor swift as much as i did. Then a few days later i saw her tweet something about a band called parachute saying how amazing they were. And, me? nothing excites me more than new music, so i was like "hey! why don't i give them a listen" and that's exactly what i did, and i promise you it was love at first listen. Kiss Me Slowly is the first song i ever heard from them. I honestly can't explain to you the feeling i get whenever i listen to that song..

I've gotten lost in my story haven't I?
sigh.

you're probably wondering where 'sparkys flaw' comes from? well, Will Anderson (vocalist, guitarist, pianist) and Johnny Stubblefield (drums)  formed the band Sparky's Flaw while attending Charlottesville High School. It's later in May, 2008 while they were touring full time that they later changed their name to parachute. (which is much better right? sparkys flaw is too long. I can't imagine yelling that at their concert, my mouth would hurt.) Their signed to Mercury Records.

Members of the band are; Will Anderson (vocals, guitar, piano)
Johnny Stubblefield (drums)
Alex Hargrave (bass)
Kit French (saxophones, keyboards, vocals)
Nate McFarland (guitar, vocals)

you're probably tired of reading aren't you? you just want to listen to some MUSICCCCCC. Right?
so yeah, below this are two playlists. The first one is all the songs off their second album 'The Way It Was' and then the second, all the songs off their third album 'Overnight'

Enjoy yourself :)
